She is as sweet as a vanilla ice cream

in a hot summer day

She is as colourful as

a dancing leave in an Autumn day.

I know a Girl her Name is Simmee

When she enters the rooms she

tickles the air with her ear to ear smile.

And when she talks

her words feel like

a peacock feather

in a hand of a beauty queen.

I know a Girl her Name is Simmee

She is half Indian half Thai,

an official who does not wear Tie.

She is from Chiang Rai

and when you see her all

you can say oh my!

I know a Girl her Name is Simmee

She is as understanding as

a mother giving away her newly

wed son.

She is as light as

a butterfly kiss, and

a timid sun in winter

with snow and fun.

She listens to the likes of

Rajesh Khanna, Manoj Kumar

And not to mention Sharukh  Khan

She dances on the tunes of Bollywood

Snapping her fingers like an exciting toddler

reaching for her second chocolate bar.

She is an angel in human disguise,

a princess wearing a humble village dress

in turquoise.

She will capture your mind,

before you willingly surrender your heart.

She is the newly engaged Spring and Summer

She is melody waiting to be sung

She is a poem that writes itself

She is a delicious food for the soul

And the self.

She is only Simmee, a girl I am glad

to know, and proud to be in her

own armour and  gold.

And that’s why she is

the queen of culture

and the appointed princess of charm.
